రైలు: Bengaluru Summer Special Trains: Enhancing Rail Connectivity
As the summer vacation season approaches, Bengaluru is gearing up to accommodate the increased passenger demand with the introduction of special trains. This initiative aims to provide better connectivity for travelers heading to popular destinations across India.
Starting from mid-April, special trains will operate from both SMVT and Yeshvantpur stations, catering to routes that connect Bengaluru with Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal. This move is a direct response to the growing number of travelers seeking to visit family or explore new places during the holidays.
Train number 07153 will operate weekly from Narsapur to SMVT Bengaluru until May 29, while train number 07154 will run in the opposite direction until May 30. These trains are expected to significantly ease the travel burden for passengers heading to and from the coastal regions.
Additionally, train numbers 06579/06580 and 06549/06550 will connect Yeshvantpur and SMVT to Danapur throughout April, providing essential links to Bihar. Meanwhile, train number 06571/06572 will operate weekly from Yeshvantpur to Katihar until July 14, ensuring that travelers have access to this important route for an extended period.
For those looking to travel to West Bengal, train number 06557 will run from Yeshvantpur to Santragachi every Friday until April 24, offering a convenient option for weekend getaways.
Passengers are encouraged to book their journeys in advance through the IRCTC website or at reservation counters to secure their seats during this busy travel season. With the introduction of these special trains, travelers can look forward to a more comfortable and efficient journey.
This initiative not only enhances rail connectivity but also reflects the commitment of Indian Railways to meet the needs of the community during peak travel times. As families and friends come together for the summer holidays, these special trains will play a vital role in facilitating their journeys.
As the summer unfolds, the community can expect these trains to be a lifeline, connecting people across states and fostering a sense of togetherness during this festive season.
