Hyundai Verna Facelift Launched in India
The 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift has been launched in India, marking a significant update in the competitive sedan market. With a price range between Rs 10.98 lakh and Rs 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Verna aims to attract buyers looking for modern features and performance.
This updated model is available in six variants: HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8, and HX10. The new Verna introduces two new color options, Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.
Under the hood, the Verna offers two engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 115 hp and 144 Nm of torque, and a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine generating 160 hp and 253 Nm of torque. This range of engines positions the Verna competitively against rivals such as the Honda City, VW Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.
Safety has also been prioritized in the new Verna, which includes a Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite and seven airbags. These features are designed to enhance driver and passenger safety, addressing a growing consumer demand for advanced safety technologies.
The interior of the Verna has been upgraded with dual 10.25-inch screens and a new D-cut steering wheel, providing a modern and user-friendly interface. Additionally, the new model includes a powered tailgate and a built-in dashcam, further enhancing its appeal.
Deliveries for the new Verna are expected to start by the end of the month, and the company anticipates a positive reception from consumers. As the sedan market continues to evolve, the Verna facelift aims to solidify Hyundai’s position in this competitive segment.
Details remain unconfirmed regarding the exact delivery timelines and customer feedback, but the initial response from the market will be closely monitored as the vehicle hits the roads.
