Upprpb: UP Police Recruitment Results 2023 Announced
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has officially released the final selection results for the posts of Police Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector Clerk, and Assistant Sub-Inspector Accounts. A total of 912 candidates have been selected, which includes 178 female candidates, reflecting a commitment to inclusivity in the recruitment process.
This recruitment drive was conducted for 921 vacancies, showcasing the ongoing efforts to strengthen the police force in Uttar Pradesh. The cutoff marks for the positions varied, with the cutoff for Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential) set at 316.26 for unreserved candidates, 299.57 for OBC, and 225.04 for SC candidates.
For the Assistant Sub-Inspector Clerk position, the cutoff for unreserved candidates was 334.61, while for Assistant Sub-Inspector Accounts, it was 318.61. The selection process also included horizontal reservations for female candidates, ex-servicemen, and dependents of freedom fighters, ensuring a diverse representation within the police force.
The final selection lists were made available on the official UPPRPB website, allowing candidates to check their results by entering their registration number and date of birth. This transparency is a positive step towards building trust within the community.
As part of the recruitment process, selected candidates will undergo a medical examination and verification of their educational qualifications. This thorough vetting ensures that only the most qualified individuals are chosen to serve and protect the community.
The merit lists and cutoff details were officially released on March 26, 2026, marking an important milestone for many aspiring police officers.
