Sufiyan Muqeem’s exceptional bowling led him to win the Player of the Tournament award in PSL 11, held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on May 3, 2026. His remarkable performance helped Peshawar Zalmi secure their second title by defeating Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final.

Muqeem took an impressive 22 wickets across 11 innings, boasting an average of 14.40. This achievement not only highlights his skills as a mystery spinner but also underscores his pivotal role in his team’s success. “My individual performance was good, and so was the team’s,” Sufiyan shared after the match.

The tournament saw other standout performances as well. Babar Azam emerged as the leading run-scorer, accumulating 588 runs with an impressive average of 73.50. Meanwhile, Shadab Khan was recognized as the best all-rounder, taking 17 wickets and scoring 173 runs.

Sufiyan’s efforts earned him the prestigious Fazal Mehmood cap for being the leading wicket-taker of PSL 11. His teammate, Hunain Shah, received accolades as the best emerging player of the tournament. Reflecting on his achievement, Muqeem remarked, “It was written in the stars for me to be named the best bowler, and I’m very happy with it.”
