Cs: Dehradun Reviews Initiatives for State Pragati Portal

In a significant development for governance in Dehradun, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan held a review of the State Pragati Portal on April 1, 2023. This initiative aims to enhance the monitoring of all significant State and Centrally sponsored schemes through a centralized platform.

During the review, Bardhan directed all departments to upload details of their major schemes onto the portal as soon as possible. “He directed all the departments to upload details of their major schemes on the platform at the earliest to facilitate comprehensive oversight,” he stated, highlighting the importance of transparency in government operations.

The review comes at a time when the state is focusing on fast-tracking pending reforms under the D-BRAP-2025 initiative, which includes 154 reform points that all states and union territories are expected to implement. The Chief Secretary emphasized the significance of these reforms for improving citizen welfare and fostering a conducive business environment across the region.

Atal Dulloo, an official involved in the reforms, underscored the importance of sustaining the pace of these changes, stating, “The pace of reforms must be sustained and tangible outcomes achieved without exception.” He further noted, “These reforms aim to transform governance through digitisation, transparency, and time-bound service delivery.”

In addition to the portal review, the resignation of CS Garvita Gaba from Shri Krishna Prasadam Limited as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer has also made headlines. Gaba’s resignation, effective from February 16, 2026, was attributed to marriage and personal reasons, as detailed in her resignation letter dated February 14.

The ongoing reforms and the establishment of a real-time monitoring dashboard for service delivery align with the guidelines set by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT). This initiative is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency of public service delivery.

As the state moves forward with these reforms, the focus remains on ensuring 100 percent implementation of the prescribed measures. The community is hopeful that these changes will lead to improved governance and a better quality of life for all residents.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding any further developments related to the resignation of CS Garvita Gaba and its implications for Shri Krishna Prasadam Limited.
