“The exam has been postponed, and new dates are yet to be announced,”April 27 to May 30, 2026, in four distinct phases.
With over 25,000 vacancies available for the SSC GD Constable recruitment, the exam has drawn significant attention from aspirants, with more than 48 lakh applicants expected to participate. The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and a medical examination, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of candidates.
As part of the new schedule, candidates will have the opportunity to select their preferred exam week between April 11 and April 15, 2026. However, it’s important to note that submitting a preference does not guarantee allocation to the chosen week, a reminder for candidates to remain flexible in their preparations.
