Rajpal Yadav Addresses Controversy with Akshay Kumar
In a recent development, Rajpal Yadav has addressed the controversy involving Akshay Kumar during the promotions for their upcoming film, Bhooth Bangla. The incident gained attention after a viral video surfaced, showing Akshay Kumar asking Rajpal Yadav to move aside during a group photo.
Yadav clarified that the gesture was a respectful adjustment for the group photo, stating, “If I talk about the controversy of that day, both Akshay and Ekta had come along with the other two girls. I was late, and they were waiting for me.” This explanation comes as the film is set to release on April 10, 2026.
Rajpal Yadav further mentioned that Akshay Kumar prefers to arrange group photos with females in the middle, emphasizing the moral values that guide his actions. “This is actually the deep-rooted moral values of Akshay Paji… I don’t know what people thought from a distance,” he remarked.
Despite the ongoing controversy, Yadav is currently out on interim bail in a separate Rs 9 crore cheque bounce case, with the Delhi High Court extending his bail until April 1, 2026. Yadav has decided to contest this case in court rather than settling it out of court.
Rajpal Yadav expressed his admiration for Akshay Kumar, stating, “In life, he loves me, I love him, and I get inspired by him somewhere.” This sentiment reflects the long professional history they share, having collaborated on multiple films over the years.
The incident has sparked discussions among fans and industry insiders alike, with many expressing support for both actors. As the release date of Bhooth Bangla approaches, the focus will likely shift back to the film itself, but the controversy serves as a reminder of the public’s keen interest in the personal dynamics of Bollywood stars.
