Ola Electric Launches ‘EndICEAge’ Campaign Amidst Oil Shock

Ola Electric has called for an urgent transition to electric vehicles with its new campaign, #EndICEAge, launched in response to an oil shock exacerbated by the ongoing Iran war. The campaign aims to promote electric scooters and motorcycles starting at an attractive price of ₹49,999, a move that comes as the company faces declining sales.

In February 2026, Ola Electric’s electric vehicle (EV) sales fell to their lowest level since the company went public in August 2024. This downturn has prompted the company to introduce significant benefits under the ‘EndICEAge’ campaign, including up to ₹50,000 in incentives, service guarantees, and assured buyback schemes.

Bhavish Aggarwal, the founder of Ola Electric, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, “Rising fuel prices and the current geopolitical situation are clear reminders of why India must accelerate its journey towards energy independence.” He further added, “Every EV on the road reduces our dependence on imported oil,” highlighting the broader implications of adopting electric mobility.

The campaign not only aims to make electric vehicles more accessible but also includes a buyback guarantee that offers an assured buyback value of up to 60% on its EVs. This is designed to alleviate concerns potential buyers may have regarding the resale value of electric scooters and motorcycles.

Additionally, Ola Electric is providing an extended warranty of eight years as standard for its S1 scooters and Roadster motorcycles, further enhancing consumer confidence in their products.

The offer is valid until March 31, 2026, encouraging consumers to make the switch to electric vehicles sooner rather than later. Observers believe that this campaign could play a pivotal role in revitalizing Ola Electric’s sales and reinforcing its position as India’s largest electric two-wheeler maker.

As the campaign unfolds, it will be interesting to see how the market responds and whether Ola Electric can turn around its sales trajectory amid these challenging times. Bhavish Aggarwal concluded with a resolute statement, saying, “We are going to do whatever it takes to accelerate India’s move beyond ICE!”
