NEET PG 2026: NBEMS Confirms No Answer Key Release
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that it will not release any answer key for NEET MDS 2026, which took place on May 2, 2026. This decision underscores the board’s commitment to maintaining strict exam confidentiality.
Approximately 23 lakh candidates registered for the NEET-UG 2026 examination held recently across 551 Indian cities and 14 international locations. This year’s NEET MDS featured 240 multiple-choice questions, with a marking scheme awarding +4 points for correct answers and deducting -1 for incorrect responses.
Results for NEET MDS 2026 are expected by June 2, 2026. Following the results, merit lists and cutoff scores will be released, and the counselling process is set to begin shortly after.
The NEET-PG 2026 is scheduled for August 30, 2026, further heightening the stakes for aspiring postgraduate medical students. The NEET MDS serves as the primary entrance examination for postgraduate dental courses in India, making this announcement particularly significant for those seeking admission.
NBEMS’s decision not to provide an answer key aims to preserve the integrity of the examination process. Observers suggest that such measures could help mitigate any potential disputes regarding exam performance.
As candidates await their results, many are left wondering how this lack of transparency might affect their preparation strategies for future exams like NEET-PG and NEET-SS.
