On May 3, 2026, the NEET UG 2026 exam will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM across India, with Kolhan University postponing its semester exams scheduled for May 2 to support this significant event.

A total of 611 examination centres have been established across 27 districts, accommodating approximately 2.09 lakh candidates. The Examination Controller of Kolhan University stated, “The decision was taken to ensure smooth conduct of both university examinations and the NEET exam, while minimizing inconvenience to students.” This step reflects a growing commitment to facilitate educational opportunities.

Candidates are advised to arrive at their exam centres at least 1–2 hours before the reporting time. With competitive scores expected, those aiming for top ranks should target over 650 marks. The NEET exam comprises 180 questions, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, for a total of 720 marks.

The National Testing Agency has already released the NEET UG Admit Card 2026. Candidates must adhere to strict exam guidelines, including avoiding prohibited items such as mobile phones and electronic gadgets. As one candidate noted, “It’s crucial to be prepared and focused on the exam day.”

To further assist candidates traveling for the exam, special trains will operate on May 3. Jaipur has emerged as the biggest exam hub in this arrangement, highlighting regional preparations for this nationwide event.

The NEET serves as India’s sole entrance test for undergraduate medical admissions—an essential step for many aspiring doctors. As the date approaches, students remain hopeful about their chances in what is considered one of the most competitive exams in the country.

With just days left until the exam, candidates are busy finalizing their preparations. The atmosphere is charged with anticipation as they prepare for a critical milestone in their academic journeys.
