Is NEET Admit Card Released 2026?

The NEET UG Admit Card 2026 was released on April 26, a day earlier than the previously announced date. This allows approximately 20 lakh candidates to download their hall tickets in advance of the medical entrance exam scheduled for May 3.

Candidates can access their admit cards from the official website neet.nta.nic.in. To log in, they need their application number and either their date of birth or password. The admit card contains essential details like candidate information, the exam centre address, reporting time, and the exam date.

Entry to the examination centre will not be permitted without a valid admit card. Candidates must also carry a printed copy of the admit card along with valid photo ID proof and passport-size photographs on exam day.

As many as 552 cities across India will host the examination, with an additional 14 cities abroad participating. This broad reach aims to accommodate all aspiring medical students looking to secure a place in MBBS, BDS, and allied medical courses.

“Candidates are advised to use the last Sunday before the examination for a practice test or revision of concepts,” an NTA official mentioned. This advice comes as students prepare for an exam that carries a total of 720 marks.

Moreover, candidates are reminded to adhere to a prescribed dress code—items like jewellery, watches, electronic devices, and bags are not allowed in the examination hall.

Many students expressed relief at the early release of the admit card. Priya Sharma from Delhi shared her thoughts: “Having an extra day gives me peace of mind to double-check everything before heading into this important exam.”

As excitement builds among candidates, officials encourage them to familiarize themselves with their exam centres ahead of time. They recommend arriving by 11:00 AM on exam day to avoid any last-minute rush.

The NEET UG 2026 is more than just an examination; it’s a crucial step for many young aspirants aiming for careers in healthcare. As they prepare for this national-level assessment, every detail counts.

With only days left until the exam, candidates are focused on reviewing their study materials and ensuring they have all necessary items ready for May 3.
