Additionally, two days prior to the announcement, domestic and commercial LPG cylinder prices were hiked, further complicating the landscape for consumers. Despite these changes, officials maintain that there is sufficient supply of LPG available in the country.

Except I haven’t ordered a new cylinder since early 2025! Then I discovered clear fraud!” He further emphasized, “Clearly there is some fraud going on where these cylinders are being delivered to someone else.”
In contrast, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah supported the government’s decision to extend the booking period, stating, “Their decision was right.” This highlights a divide between government officials and affected consumers regarding the effectiveness of current policies.
