ICSE Results 2026: Key Dates and Options for Students in India

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will announce the results of the 2026 ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examinations on April 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM. This announcement has students across India buzzing with anticipation.

Students will be able to check and download their results from multiple platforms, including the CISCE website (cisce.org), the careers portal, and DigiLocker. This accessibility ensures that every student can easily access their scorecards without any hassle.

As students prepare for this significant day, many are also considering their options post-results. “Students can apply for recheck of results between May 1 and May 4,” a CISCE spokesperson mentioned. This option provides a safety net for those who feel their scores do not reflect their efforts.

Following the recheck application period, registration for improvement examinations will open from May 8 to May 14. This gives students a chance to enhance their scores if they believe they can perform better in specific subjects.

Key dates to remember:

  • Recheck application period: May 1 – May 4
  • Improvement examination registration: May 8 – May 14
  • Improvement exams start: June 15
  • Recheck results expected: First week of June
  • Tentative improvement exam results date: Last week of July

The ICSE examinations took place between February 17 and March 30, while the ISC exams ran from February 12 to April 6. In recent years, CISCE has consistently announced results between late April and mid-May; last year, both class results were declared on April 30.

In terms of performance, the total pass percentage for class 10 in 2025 reached an impressive 99.09 percent, while class 12 saw a pass percentage of 99.02 percent. These figures set a high bar for this year’s candidates as they await their outcomes.

CISCE has also enabled institutional access through the CAREERS portal, making it easier for schools to assist students in navigating the process. As students gear up for these important announcements, many hope to see similar success rates this year.
