CUET PG Result: Key to Admissions for 198 Universities
The CUET PG 2026 results are crucial as they will determine eligibility for admissions across 198 universities this year. Released on April 24, 2026, the results have set the stage for many hopeful candidates eager to secure their spots in postgraduate programs.
From March 6 to March 27, the examination unfolded, testing thousands of students nationwide. The National Testing Agency conducted the exam in a computer-based test (CBT) format, allowing candidates to showcase their knowledge in various subjects.
The provisional answer key was made available on April 11, giving students a glimpse into their potential scores. Candidates had until April 14 to raise objections, ensuring that everyone had a fair chance at accuracy before results were finalized.
To access their results, candidates must visit exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG/ and enter their application number and password. The CUET PG scorecard includes vital information such as the candidate’s name, application number, and total marks secured in the exam.
Many students are anxiously awaiting their scores as these will play a significant role in the CUET PG counselling process. Each of the 198 universities will publish its own eligibility criteria based on CUET PG scores—an important factor for applicants deciding where to apply.
As students check their results, they will also see normalized scores due to multiple shifts during the exam period. This normalization ensures fairness across all test-takers, reflecting true performance levels despite varying conditions during the exam.
The stakes are high this year; with so many universities relying on these scores for admissions, every mark counts. “The result will be important for admissions this year,” said a representative from one of the participating universities. Candidates are keenly aware that their future academic paths hinge on these results.
As we move forward into the counselling phase, clarity around passing marks and cutoffs will become essential. Candidates must remain vigilant and informed about updates from universities regarding their specific requirements and timelines.
