CUET 2026 Admit Card Released for Candidates in India

The CUET UG 2026 admit card was released on May 5, 2026, providing candidates with crucial access to their exam details ahead of the test dates. Scheduled from May 11 to May 31, candidates must act quickly to ensure they download their admit cards without any last-minute issues.

Before this release, many candidates felt anxious about the upcoming exams. With the exam dates approaching, students were eager for updates but faced uncertainty regarding when they would receive their admit cards.

Now that the admit card is available, candidates can download it from cuet.nta.nic.in using their application number and password. The card contains essential information such as the exam date, reporting time, and exam centre address. Moreover, it serves as a vital document for entry into the exam hall.

Key requirements for candidates:

  • Candidates must carry a printed admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam.
  • Valid photo IDs include Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, and Class 12 Board Admit Card.
  • A self-declaration form must be filled at home but signed in front of the invigilator.

Some candidates have expressed concerns about their exam city slips, particularly regarding long distances to their designated exam centres. These logistical challenges could add stress during an already tense time.

Experts emphasize that downloading the admit card promptly is critical. “Candidates should not miss downloading the call letters as the link is live on the portal to avoid any last-minute issues,” an NTA spokesperson noted.

The NTA will not provide the admit card through offline modes. Therefore, candidates are encouraged to ensure they have everything prepared well in advance of their exams. This proactive approach can help alleviate some of the pressures associated with taking such an important examination.
