CTET Results Expected Soon for 2026 Exam

“Candidates who appeared in the exam will be able to check the CTET results on the official portal at ctet.nic.in, once released,” a CBSE spokesperson stated, highlighting the anticipation surrounding the upcoming results.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the CTET 2026 results soon, following the examination conducted on February 7 and 8, 2026. This year, over 25.3 lakh candidates registered for the CTET, with nearly 25 lakh appearing for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

The sheer number of candidates forced the authorities to conduct the exam over two days, reflecting the growing interest in teaching positions across the country. The results are anticipated to be released within two weeks after the objection period for the answer key, which was from March 12 to March 15, 2026.

To qualify, candidates must score at least 60% for the general category and 55% for reserved categories. The CTET certificate serves as the minimum eligibility requirement for teaching positions in central government schools.

“The CTET certificate is the minimum eligibility to achieve a teaching position,” noted an education expert, emphasizing the importance of these results for aspiring teachers.

The CTET result will be available in digital format through DigiLocker and the UMANG app, making it easier for candidates to access their scores. The result will include essential details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, and marks secured.

As candidates await their scores, the validity of the CTET result certificate remains a significant point of interest, as it is valid for a lifetime.

With 1,803 examination centres across the country, the CTET has seen varying pass percentages in previous years, adding to the suspense of this year’s results.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding the exact date of the announcement, but candidates are encouraged to stay updated through the official website.
