BTS has officially announced the release of their fifth studio album titled ‘ARIRANG’, set to launch on March 20, 2023. The album will feature a total of 14 songs, including the title track ‘SWIM’, which conveys a message about moving forward through life’s challenges.
Following the album release, BTS will host a free comeback event titled ‘BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG’ on March 21, 2023. This event will be livestreamed on Netflix, allowing fans worldwide to participate in the celebration of their return.
All seven members of BTS—RM, V, Jimin, JungKook, Jin, Suga, and J-Hope—contributed to writing the tracks on the album, reflecting their collective musical identity and emotional narrative built throughout their careers. BigHit Music stated, “The album encompasses the identity of BTS and the sentiments accumulated over their journey.”
The title track ‘SWIM’ is described as an upbeat alternative pop song, embodying the theme of resilience. The album will also include tracks such as ‘Body to Body’, ‘Hooligan’, ‘Aliens’, and ‘FYA’.

On March 27, 2023, a documentary titled ‘BTS: THE RETURN’ is set to premiere, further detailing the group’s journey and their upcoming world tour, which will include 80 stops.
