Gseb result date 2026
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) is set to announce the results for both HSC and SSC examinations on May 4 and May 6, 2026, respectively. This marks a continuation of their practice of releasing results together, which has become a familiar routine for students and parents alike.
In total, over 15.28 lakh students registered for the SSC and HSC examinations conducted from February 26 to March 18, 2026. The GSEB HSC results will be available on gseb.org, where students can check their scores using their six-digit seat number printed on their admit cards.
Last year, the pass percentages were notable as well—83.08% for the SSC and 83.51% for HSC Science students. These figures highlight the competitive nature of board exams in Gujarat. “The timely declaration of HSC results is crucial for students applying to professional courses,” an education official remarked.
A minimum of 33% in each subject and overall is required to pass, which adds pressure on students aiming for higher education. In addition to online access, results will also be available via SMS and WhatsApp services; students can send their seat number through WhatsApp to receive instant updates.
The GSEB has deployed over 75,000 teachers across 454 evaluation centres to ensure accurate result preparation. This extensive network illustrates the board’s commitment to a smooth examination process.
The GUJCET 2026 result is also expected on May 4, aligning with the HSC announcement. Students are advised to check the official website daily for any updates regarding their results.
The GSEB has consistently announced results in early May, making it a key period for students in Gujarat. As they await these crucial outcomes, families across the state are preparing for the next steps in their educational journeys.
