Delhi BJP chief Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga on Wednesday stated that he’s not deterred by the police motion as he maintained that he “will proceed to ask robust questions” to AAP convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Talking on the Delhi BJP headquarters after his arrest by the Punjab Police final week, Bagga stated he was “illegally arrested” and “kidnapped” by Punjab Police as he questioned Kejriwal about his ballot guarantees.

“My fault was that I used to ask Kejriwal about his promise to arrest the accused in Guru Granth Sahib sacrilege. He had stated that they’d be arrested, however it’s been two months now. I additionally requested him for motion towards drug mafia…(however) I used to be arrested as if I used to be a terrorist,” he stated.

Bagga, who was arrested on Friday by the Punjab Police from his home in Delhi’s Janakpuri, was ‘recovered’ by the Haryana Police that intercepted the Punjab Police on its solution to Mohali, in Kurushetra. Bagga was handed over to the Delhi Police which introduced him again to Delhi. Bagga is accused of creating provocative statements, selling enmity and prison intimidation.

Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta and West Delhi MP Parvesh Sahib Singh, who additionally took half within the press convention, hit out at Kejriwal for lacking state equipment for political good points. “The AAP might have used the police to arrest the drug mafia and take motion towards separatist components… However Bagga was arrested as he requested questions,” stated Gupta.

Bagga stated, “After AAP’s win in Punjab, Kejriwal thinks he’s above the legislation. He thinks he’s greater than Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar… He’s mistaken if he thinks that he can scare me by submitting FIRs. He can file one or 1,000 FIRs towards me however I’ll proceed to ask questions,” stated Bagga.

The AAP spokesperson didn’t touch upon the matter.
