R&B singer Jewell Caples, aka “The First Girl of Loss of life Row Information,” has died at age 53, Reggie Wright Jr., the previous head of safety for the label, introduced Friday, in keeping with Vibe.
Caples labored with artists like Snoop Dogg, 2Pac and Dr. Dre throughout her time with the label. Her solo music “Lady To Lady” reached #72 on the Billboard High 100 in 1995.
Caples’ reason behind demise has not been made public.
The information comes two months after she opened about her well being struggles on Instagram.

She advised followers that she was hospitalized on March 2 after docs discovered 8 kilos of fluid round her coronary heart, lungs and legs. She was readmitted to the hospital for remedy on March 16 and launched days later.
“I Virtually Died,” Caples wrote. “Was purported to be Airlifted to a different facility. GOD reverse my signs prolonged me some GRACE! And gave me extra time with my Household and Buddies! Thanks JESUS for saving my life once more! GOD IS REAL!”
Caples co-wrote and self-published her memoir “My Blood My Sweat My Tears” in 2011.
Lately, she has appeared on The Artwork Of Dialogue YouTube channel to inform life tales from her days within the trade.
